Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

Responsible for managing store operations, including
ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, and sales, while leading
and developing staff to ensure effective store performance.

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
• Conduct performance reviews, address gaps, and make recommendations on pay and advancement.
• Maintain optimal store operations by opening and closing the store, managing inventory, and ensuring merchandise presentation aligns with standards.
• Analyze operational data to identify sales trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
• Ensure customer service excellence, store cleanliness, safety, and security.
• Adhere to company policies, complete documentation accurately, and maintain financial integrity through cash handling and security procedures.

• Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and manage cash procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and safety practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent; management experience in retail is advantageous.
• Bi-lingual Spanish speakers may be preferred at some locations.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds.
• Use of equipment such as scanners, pricing guns, and carts.
• Occasional outside weather exposure and driving for store-related tasks.
