We design and manufacture custom automated leak test systems that solve complex challenges in Automotive, Medical Device, Energy Storage, HVAC/Data‑Center Cooling, and other high‑growth sectors. With an $845M+ U.S. market, we’re positioned for rapid expansion. The Midwest U.S. will be our launch point for a direct‑sales initiative, serving as the hub for a Midwest territory that represents nearly $300M of concentrated TAM.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and entrepreneurial sales leader to establish and grow our Midwest direct‑sales presence. This individual will embody a leader who can command a room, challenge assumptions, and build lasting customer partnerships. It’s more than a sales role: it’s a pioneer position. You’ll spearhead our expansion within a high‑potential territory, map top accounts, develop vertical‑specific strategies, and help write the playbook that will shape our expansion within this strategically selected region.
Key Responsibilities- Territory Leadership:
Own and grow a Midwest sales territory estimated at $284M in TAM across Automotive, Medical Devices, and HVAC/Data‑Center Cooling along with other vertical markets that are represented in the region. - Strategic Account Development:
Identify, pursue, and close opportunities with Tier 1 Automotive suppliers, leading Medical Device OEMs, and growth‑stage Energy/HVAC companies. - Market Expansion:
Build and execute a phased sales strategy — discovery, acceleration, optimization, scale — targeting mutually agreed upon expansion objectives. - Innovative Selling:
Use both structured planning and creative problem‑solving to develop tailored proposals that showcase technical and financial benefits. - Collaboration & Influence:
Partner with internal Applications Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership teams to refine proposals, generate case studies, and represent the company at industry events. - Thought Leadership:
Position the company as a trusted advisor by challenging customer assumptions, leading technical conversations, and demonstrating ROI‑driven outcomes.
- Experience:
5+ years in technical sales, business development, or solution selling — preferably in Automotive, Medical Devices, or Industrial Automation. - Technical Aptitude:
Background in engineered equipment, fluids, leak testing, or related technologies strongly preferred. - Location:
Based in or willing to relocate to the Midwest for central access to the geographic region outlined in the territory. - Travel:
Willingness to travel regionally (up to 50%). - Performance Bonus:
