Account Managers, Senior Account Managers, and Account Executives Job Summary
Seeking experienced Employee Benefits professionals for Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Account Executive opportunities within a growing department. These roles are responsible for managing mid-market employee benefits accounts, supporting client relationships, coordinating with internal team members, and delivering responsive and accurate service.
The ideal candidates will have strong employee benefits knowledge, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Senior-level professionals may also take a more active role in client presentations, strategic discussions, and account leadership.
ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of mid-market employee benefits accounts.
Provide responsive and professional service while addressing client needs and maintaining strong relationships.
Manage account activity throughout the policy lifecycle, including renewals and ongoing service needs.
Collaborate with producers and internal service teams to develop and deliver appropriate client solutions.
Support or lead client presentations and meetings, depending on experience and position level.
Maintain accurate account information and documentation within EPIC.
Utilize Employee Navigator and other benefits administration platforms as appropriate.
Support level-funded and fully insured employee benefits programs, with exposure to self-funded plans as needed.
Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address account-related needs.
Manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and client service.
Participate in local client meetings and presentations as needed.
Previous experience in Employee Benefits account management, client service, or a related insurance role.
Senior Account Manager and Account Executive candidates should have experience managing more complex accounts and leading client-facing presentations.
Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.
Proficiency with EPIC is required.
Experience with Employee Navigator is preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and service priorities effectively.
Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and presentations as needed.
Account Manager: $70,000 - $80,000 annually.
Senior Account Manager / Account Executive: Up to $120,000 annually.
