• Perform functions directed to protect the building and its occupants.
• Attend roll call and review any communication from building and/or security management.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols.
• Greet and direct all visitors.
• Maintain and conduct access control, permitting only authorized individuals to enter the building.
• Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitor PC‑based security/CCTV system and respond to any disturbances.
• Maintain radio communication with all building personnel.
• Maintain security presence in the building as a deterrent for suspicious activity.
• Respond and report all incidents pertaining to security and building operations.
• Evaluate, investigate and report all types of security and law enforcement incidents; complete incident reports when necessary.
• Prepare daily paperwork including inventory or Daily Condition Report.
• Perform other duties not listed and that are assigned.
• Work all shifts and be on call when needed.
• Maintain open availability to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.

• Prior security experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Evidence of customer service skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Capability to meet team deadlines and responsibilities, listen to others, value opinions, and support team goals.
• Ability to work independently, accept accountability, handle change, set personal standards, and maintain attendance/punctuality.
• Accountable for actions, maintains confidentiality, supports company values, and communicates vision and values to others.
