Head of Loss Prevention

Our client, a multi-billion-dollar leader in the retail industry, is seeking a Head of Loss Prevention to lead asset protection, inventory control, shrink reduction, investigations, and compliance initiatives across a large multi-unit retail network. This role will lead a team of District Loss Prevention Supervisors and the Surveillance Team while partnering closely with Store Operations, Distribution, and corporate leadership to protect company assets and improve operational performance.

• Lead, coach, and develop District Loss Prevention Supervisors and the Surveillance Team
• Drive loss prevention, inventory control, asset protection, and compliance programs across the organization
• Oversee investigations involving theft, fraud, inventory discrepancies, and operational compliance matters
• Direct surveillance review processes and leverage video analytics to identify risks and opportunities
• Monitor inventory accuracy, shrink trends, and margin performance, providing actionable recommendations to leadership
• Partner with Store Operations and Distribution teams to implement risk mitigation and asset protection strategies
• Review and approve shrink prevention incentive programs
• Prepare and present reports, metrics, and financial analyses to support business decisions
• Conduct field audits, assessments, and investigations as needed

• 7+ years of multi-unit Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, or Retail Operations experience
• Proven leadership experience managing geographically dispersed team
• Strong background in investigations, inventory management, shrink reduction, compliance, and operational auditing
• Experience with surveillance systems and video analytics
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skill
