Security Officer: Weekends

Application Screening Starts: Immediately

Starting Wage: $18.30/hour (Actual wage based on relevant experience)

Job Summary: Healthcare security officers are expected to respond to alarms, emergency requests, and use verbal de‑escalation skills to resolve safety incidents. They are also expected to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling private information, along with presenting strong customer service. At times, healthcare security guards will be required to effectively manage agitated or aggressive patients or visitors.

Required Qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications: Security or law enforcement experience.

Physical and Environmental Demands: Regularly:
Ability to see and hear;
Stand and walk;
Stoop, kneel, and crouch;
Use arms and hands;
Handle objects, tools, and controls; and sit. Occasionally:
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds. Occasionally:
Ability to physically restrain/hold aggressive patients under the supervision of medical staff.
