Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Sun Mechanical is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role is for experienced union technicians who value collaboration, accountability, and a supportive work environment where issues are solved together — not pushed downhill.

• Service Technicians work directly with Dispatch and the Service Manager to resolve issues
• When needed, challenges are escalated to ownership — support goes all the way up
• No one is left alone to struggle through complex situations

• Lying is grounds for immediate termination
• Negative or toxic behavior is not tolerated

• Servicing and repairing commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues independently and as part of a team
• Communicating professionally with customers, dispatch, and management
• Documenting work clearly and accurately
• Representing Sun Mechanical with integrity and professionalism

• Current membership in Local 265 or Local 597 (required)
• Proven background in commercial HVAC service and repair
• Ability to work independently and professionally with customers
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• We are not hiring apprentices at this time
