Job Description
Good morning, here is some information on the job.
We are a small foundation repair company Lovell Basement Solutions out of Edwardsville, Illinois. We specialize in basement waterproofing, foundation piering and lifting of foundations, foundation anchoring/ bracing and wall pull backs, foundation wall demo and rebuilds, crawlspace repair which we don’t do a lot of, and egress window installs.
Currently we are 2- 3 man crews. 1 office manager, one inventory manager and myself (owner/operator).
Each 3 man crew has a Forman in charge of directing the team through each day. We start at the shop( 5222 chain of rocks rd edwardsville illinois 62025 ) at 7am everyday. We typically work until
5. Maybe an hour more maybe an hour less depending on how the end of day wraps up at a job but 5 98% of the time. This is a full time position Monday through Friday. We do work Saturdays once in a while but they are not forced. We are looking for the individual to be on time regularly and present 5 days a week.
If the individual has a tendency to call off a lot or be late a lot they will need to pass on this position. We work 50 per week min, 10 hour days/5 days a week. Anything over 40 hours is overtime. We get paid EVERY FRIDAY.
Work duty’s as a laborer- the labor position we will teach you everything you need to know as long as you are willing to learn, catch on quick, and can keep a good work pace you will do good. The task vary from project to project but will consist of mixing concrete, laying concrete, carrying buckets with rock/concrete/debris in and out basements etc, digging, trenching, hammer drilling, jack hammering, drilling.
Dress code- pants(shorts are acceptable in the hot parts of the year) and steel toe boots. You’ll be provided work shirts along with hoodies when winter comes.
