School Social Worker Full-Time Position

Location: Ridgefield, IL

Description: We are looking for a passionate and skilled School Social Worker to join our team in Ridgefield, IL. This full-time position supports a diverse caseload of K-5th grade students and focuses on a self-contained cross-categorical program.

Position Details:

• Start Date: August 19, 2024
• End Date: May 29, 2025
• Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Location: Onsite at the school

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services and support to K-5th grade students, particularly those in a self-contained cross-categorical program.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement interventions and support plans to enhance students' well-being and academic success.

Requirements:

• Licenses: Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) license and Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Experience: Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
