Fullstack Team Lead

Safebooks AI is looking for its Fullstack Team Lead hero to design, build, and lead an innovative web application for the Office of the CFO, playing a pivotal role in our Engineering leadership team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive technical excellence, foster mentorship, and enhance collaboration across engineering, product, and design teams. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of our technology stack and guide a team of talented developers to deliver top-notch solutions.

• Lead the development of Safebooks’ web application, setting standards for code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Design and build sophisticated, responsive user interfaces and backend services that align with design specifications and UX/UI best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Drive and influence development methodologies, agile processes, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth delivery cycles.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance on development best practices, fostering continuous learning, and creating a positive, productive team culture.
• Champion the use of modern development tools and practices, including automated testing, version control, and documentation.

• Minimum of 2 years in a team lead role and 5 years of experience in web development
• Expertise (minimum of 3 years hands‑on) in React, Type Script, and Node.js
• Proven experience in leading development projects and mentoring junior developers, with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of software architecture, both on the frontend (React, state management, UI frameworks) and backend (Node.js, databases, microservices)
• Strong understanding of project management, Agile methodologies, and software development practices (Scrum, Kanban, or similar)
• Experience with managing remote team members and distributed development practices – an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) – an advantage
• Experience with data, cyber analytics applications – a great advantage
