Java Developer - Liferay

Responsibilities

• The resource will be working on Liferay, Java, Spring, Struts, JSP, Web Services etc.
• End-to-End handling of Development activities
• Will be responsible gathering requirements, supporting solution design, developing detailed design and coding unit testing
• Will be responsible for development of Portal components
• Experience in writing test cases and create test scripts starting with little or no documentation

• Good hands on experience in Life Ray, Java Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JSP, J2EE, Java Web Services
• Experience in implementing a portal using Life Ray.
• Exposure to good Database knowledge
  - MySQL
• 3-5 Years of web Portal App Development experience
• Experience in writing test cases and create test scripts starting with little or no documentation

• Capability to work with highly customized and sensitive environments
• Capability to prioritize and work on multiple issues and an ability to communicate with business and technical stakeholders

• Should be a self-starter and a proactive person.
• Good individual contributor as well as a team player with ability to build strong partner confidence
• Excellent verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills as the position demands regular interactions across level with technical and functional bodies.
• Should have the ability to think analytically, offer ideas & recommendations as required
• Capability to work independently in an environment with little or no documentation
• Good communication skills and capability to interact with onsite business folks.
• Experience of working at onsite and offshore
• Ability to map and document business process from start to finish with little or no support and documentation
• Experience in writing test cases and create test scripts starting with little or no documentation
• Capability to prioritize and work and an ability to communicate with business, SMEs and technical stakeholders
