Senior Salesforce Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly technical Senior Salesforce Developer with deep platform expertise and hands‑on experience implementing AI‑driven solutions within Salesforce. This role requires strong architectural knowledge, advanced Apex development skills, integration expertise, and experience leveraging Salesforce AI capabilities including predictive, generative, and automation features. The Senior Salesforce Developer will work closely with architects and product owners to understand business requirements and develop scalable solutions that meet those requirements.

The position reports to the Director, Salesforce and Integrations.

Located at our office in Naperville. A hybrid model is required (T‑TH in office, M & F remote).

• Develop enterprise‑grade solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Build advanced solutions using Apex (Batch, Queueable, Future, Schedulable) and Visualforce where applicable.
• Design complex data models, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and security architecture.
• Design and implement AI‑driven solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud and generative AI within Salesforce Flows.
• Develop AI‑powered automation for lead scoring, case classification, forecasting, and recommendations.
• Implement real‑time AI inference via Platform Events and asynchronous processing.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets for AI model training and insights.
• Apply Responsible AI principles, data governance, and compliance standards.
• Design Sales/Service Cloud solutions in collaboration with application owners, business analysts, solution architects, and product owners.
• Build custom integrations connecting Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud) with field service platforms such as Dispatch.me.
• Support, maintain, and improve the operation of existing Sales/Service Cloud applications for optimal functionality.
• Write high‑coverage, bulkified unit tests and enforce code quality standards.
• Conduct comprehensive testing of Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud solutions to ensure proper functionality, usability, and adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops or Copado.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce secure coding best practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in contact center technologies and related tools to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

• 5+ years of IT experience, including dedicated Salesforce development across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud platforms.
• Strong experience in Apex classes, controllers, and triggers.
• Experience with Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Experience configuring and customizing Workflows, Process Builder, Flow validation rules, and approval processes.
• Extensive experience customizing the Salesforce Lightning platform using declarative tools and platform events.
• Experience with API‑based integrations, middleware, or custom connectors.
• Experience with Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
• Experience building custom dashboards and reports.
• 3+ years of designing and implementing AI‑driven solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Ability to support multiple concurrent projects, prioritize activities, and deliver on schedule.
• Experience with Dispatch.me, invoicing, or field services is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.

We offer a competitive base salary of $116,365 – $157,500 USD Annual, with the specific pay depending on qualifications, experience, education, and skill set. Compensation may also include an annual performance‑based bonus, sales incentive plan, or commission target.
