The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced API Platform Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise‑scale API platforms that enable secure, reliable, and high‑performance integration across mission‑critical applications and services. This role requires close collaboration with clients, architects, developers, and operations teams to deliver scalable API solutions that support modern digital transformation initiatives.
You Have- Experience in backend or platform engineering, including distributed systems and API design
- Experience in software development using Java or Python
- Experience with designing, deploying, and operating real‑time, low‑latency API platforms at scale such as Apigee, Gravitee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, or Mulesoft
- Experience with Dev Ops practices and technologies, including Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Git Ops workflows
- Experience with protocols, including HTTP, gRPC, or Web Sockets, caching, load balancing, and API security
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Git and collaboration tools, including Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Nexus, or Bitbucket
- Experience in gathering requirements and engaging with clients
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with SQL, Server‑Side Development, Middleware, Application or Data Integration, API Development, Core Application Systems, Node.js, Groovy, Scala, Spring Cloud, Spring Core, Spring‑Boot, or Spring Data
- Experience with using a message broker, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Bachelors degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- DoW 8140 Certification

Salary range $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). Relies on location, education, skills, and experience.
