Position SummaryThe qualified candidate will perform duties and responsibilities necessary to support the area to which they are assigned.
Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Organizational, clerical, and technical skills, including data entry, scheduling, and operation of commonly used office equipment.
- Knowledge of Google Suites and proficiency in word processing.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate with staff members and students.
- Some positions may require: ELS(PARA) License (ISBE registered in DuPage Co), a valid driver's license, or musical accompaniment skill.
- Assist teacher with instructional and classroom management, including attendance, inventory, lab scheduling, and grading records.
- Responsible for student supervision.
- Assist or coordinate mandated school testing.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as correspondence, surveys, and electronic media.
- Ability to write professional communications.
- Clear and concise communication.
- Respond to questions from individuals and groups.
- Basic mathematical operations and concepts.
- Problem‑solving in situations with limited standardization.
- Maintain current job skills, especially in technology.
- Perform essential duties with awareness of district requirements and Board policies.
- Must sit, talk, or hear regularly; frequently stand, walk, operate duplicating machines and computer equipment; reach with hands and arms; repeat hand motions such as typing.
- Specific vision requirements: close vision, ability to adjust focus, and withstand long‑term use of video display terminals.
- May lift up to 30 pounds, e.g., reference books.
- Noise level usually moderate; pace of work tasks considered fast.
- Work usually conducted at one job site; occasional travel to meetings, conferences, or workshops at other sites.
