Job Description:

Illini Environmental is currently seeking highly motivated Class A CDL Drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements looking to work for a progressive, fast-growing company. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform daily pre-/post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment, inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
• Report any deficiencies to full-time mechanic staff for repairs.
• Comply with federal, state, and local rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving, retain fuel/ toll receipts, incident/accident reports as necessary.
• Complete pre-printed shipping documents in an orderly manner.
• Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe, courteous manner while interacting directly with customers/staff in a customer service-oriented manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Class A CDL driver's license.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or willing to obtain both post-employment).
• 2 years verifiable experience and at least 23 years of age.
• Safe and verifiable driving history with no significant recent violations.
• Ability to pass Company physical and alcohol/drug screenings.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc).
