This position is located in the Central Warehouse of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department at Naval Station Great Lakes. The Central Warehouse handles the receiving, handling, storing, issuing, and accountability of foodstuffs, supplies, alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, retail merchandise, and physical properties ordered by the MWR Department.
Incumbent will act as the primary point of contact for all warehouse operations.
Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience with a focus on inventory control, loss prevention, and record keeping.
- Computer proficient and willing to be trained in specific warehouse computer software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete finished reports in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
