Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Supervisor in Naperville, IL supporting Ryder Supply Chain Solutions. Pay: $65,000 per year, schedule Monday-Friday 5:45am-2:45pm.

Under the responsibility of the Manager, the Supervisor Logistics is responsible to supervise, coordinate and oversee logistics operations and provide coaching, development and training to the staff members.

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes in collaboration with the Logistics Manager to meet company standards and customer service specifications.
• Establish work schedules and procedures, and coordinate activities of workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site Key Performance Indication (KPI) and collaborate with customers on all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members collectively and individually to monitor progress, track performance, coach and counsel, and recognize successes.
• Cultivate team spirit through a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promote cooperation by seeking opportunities to improve internal processes.
• Carry out performance evaluations of team members and recommend performance awards or merit increases.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process.
• Understand labor agreement and maintain positive labor relations.
• Implement health & safety and security initiatives, practices, and adherence to company rules and policies.
• Provide orientation and necessary information, technology, and materials to employees and Lead Hands.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish preferred.
• Warehouse leadership experience preferred.
• DOT regulated knowledge relevant to the position.

Exempt / Salary paid twice per month. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level and type.
