Position Summary:
The Loader Operator is responsible for safely operating loaders and other assigned equipment to support daily yard and production operations.
This is not an equipment-only position. The Loader Operator will also perform ground-level, hands‑on work throughout the shift, including material handling, yard organization, cleanup, vehicle and parts movement, and assisting other operational areas as needed.
Job Snapshot:
- Perform ground-level work as needed in addition to operating loaders and other equipment.
- Assist with moving, sorting, staging, and organizing vehicles, parts, materials, and scrap.
- Perform general yard cleanup and housekeeping, including removal of debris and maintaining safe, clear work areas.
- Assist other yard and production employees with physical tasks as operational needs require.
- Enter and exit equipment frequently throughout the shift to complete ground-level duties.
- Follow all safety procedures while working around vehicles, heavy equipment, and active production areas.
- Perform other general labor and yard duties as assigned.
- Automotive background and heavy equipment experience
- Previous heavy equipment operating, general maintenance and understanding of mechanical equipment
- Able to lift 75 lbs. continuously throughout the day
- Basic computer skills
