Material Handler

G&W Electric Co., a global leader in power grid solutions, is seeking a Material Handler I to support manufacturing operations. In this role, you will receive, store, pick, and deliver materials to production lines, ensuring accurate inventory and timely material flow. You will operate forklifts and material handling equipment, follow safety and quality procedures, and maintain organized storage areas. Working in a collaborative, quality-focused environment, you'll gain exposure to modern manufacturing practices, develop technical skills, and help support reliable electric power distribution worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and components
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines per work orders
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
• Maintain accurate inventory through scanning, labeling, and cycle counts
• Prepare materials for shipment, including packing, palletizing, and documentation
• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Follow all safety, quality, and 5
• S/lean procedures and use required PPECommunicate with production, purchasing, and shipping to resolve material issues
• Report shortages, damaged goods, and inventory discrepancies promptly
• Support continuous improvement activities in material flow and warehouse processes
