Candidates should have experience working in a special education classroom or resource room setting, with behavior modification experience. He/she should desire to work cooperatively with academic teachers within a team concept.

• Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities and Secondary certification in Math. Experience with executive functioning preferred.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities and modifications.
• Experience with thorough data collection and behavioral management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Required criminal history background check and medical screening, proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.

To provide instructional leadership in the classroom in accordance with the course of study approved by the Board of Education approved curriculum.

• Implements instruction to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
