Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Preschool Teacher at our South Orange, NJ location. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging lessons, developing age-appropriate curriculum, and nurturing a positive and stimulating classroom environment. Daily tasks include guiding children through hands‑on learning activities, fostering their social and emotional skills, and ensuring their safety and well‑being at all times.
Collaboration with peers, open communication with families, and ongoing assessment of children's development are key aspects of this role.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Background in Early Childhood Education, including knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues
- Experience with guiding and preparing children for Kindergarten is a plus
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for nurturing young learners
- Relevant certifications or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
