The College of Human Development, Culture, and Media at Seton Hall University is seeking adjunct instructors for undergraduate, on-campus, in-person film/media studies courses in the Visual and Sound Media Program. Courses of particular interest include Contemporary Cinema, Film Directors, Documentary Film, and Film Criticism.
Duties and Responsibilities- Teach up to two sections of the Film or Media Studies courses, as assigned. Course schedules vary, with sections meeting once or twice per week.
- Provide up-to-date course materials and maintain course websites.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Master’s degree in Film or Media Studies.
- Relevant experience in instructional settings.
- PhD in Film or Media Studies.
- Two years of teaching experience in higher education.
Minimum pay is $1200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1300 per credit for those with a terminal degree.
Exempt Status- Exempt.
