Cost Analyst

LTS is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to support financial decision-making across manufacturing, operations, projects, and administrative functions. In this role, you will analyze costs, investigate variances, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights that help improve efficiency and profitability.
This position is based in West Caldwell, NJ
and is hybrid eligible
after the introductory period is complete; up to 2 days/week.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Generate and maintain detailed actual cost analyses and cost models to support product and service quoting.
- Analyze actual expenses against targets, plans, and forecasts; identify discrepancies and recommend improvements.
- Investigate manufacturing order variances, scrap, project hours, and expense variances.
- Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and project cost estimates.
- Identify and support cost-saving strategies to improve efficiency and margins.
- Prepare reports and present analysis and insights to management.
- Monitor inventory, labor costs, indirect expenses, and trends to support business decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, finance, or cost analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years' experience with SAP S/4
HANA - Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a GMP-regulated environment
- Experience supporting manufacturing or operational finance in a complex business environment
