Guitar, Piano and Beginning Drums Teacher

A growing music school with two locations is seeking a qualified Guitar, Piano, and Beginning Drums and Rock Band Teacher for in‑person lessons on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and additional weekdays. We are looking for highly qualified and versatile instructors to join our team of caring music educators.

Instructors will begin as part‑time employees. The hourly rate is $30.00–$32.50, with a possibility of a raise discussion in January. Lessons are taught on site, in person. We need one‑on‑one music teachers as well as assistance with a beginning concert band group class. Benefits include dental, telemedicine, accrued sick leave, and professional development workshops.

• Teach individual lessons in guitar, piano, and beginning drums/rock band.
• Assist with a beginning concert band group class.
• Maintain student progress and meet set goals for each student.
• Encourage and motivate students to work through weak areas and build on their strengths.

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Previous teaching experience is a plus.
• Ability to tailor instruction to individual students while meeting set goals.
• Good people skills: works well with both children and adults, and enjoys building client relationships.
• Timely and reliable; consistency in lessons is vital for student growth.
• Strong time‑management skills.
• Positive attitude during instruction with the ability to encourage students.
• Desire to collaborate with a team to create a high‑quality, yet fun, music education environment.
• Love teaching; a career focused on teaching is a big plus.
