Position:
Full-Time/Part-Time
Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Travel: 20+ miles
Shift: Day

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor site conditions to identify potential security concerns or safety hazards.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and notify the police or fire department in case of emergencies, such as fires or unauthorized access.
  • Verbally warn individuals of rule infractions and ensure compliance with property regulations.
  • Allow authorized personnel to enter the property and monitor access points to maintain security.
  • Monitor and enforce property removal policies to deter theft and unauthorized activities.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while assisting customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong observational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
Minimum Requirements
  • On‑call/Part‑time coverage of shifts at different locations.
  • Flexible schedule; day and swing shifts required.
  • Valid California driver license and clean driving record.
  • Enthusiastic about counseling, training, and encouraging others.
  • Maintain a positive attitude through challenging situations.
  • Communicate and document thoroughly, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing procedures and work environments.
  • Deal with individuals cautiously and professionally.
  • Follow instructions and deal tactfully/diplomatically with clients, management, and co‑workers.
  • Adhere to and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Take the initiative.
  • Complete reports by documenting observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses when necessary.
  • Maintain the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

  • Present yourself in a neat, well‑groomed, and polished manner.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.
