Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. The role will assist in managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, experience in a public company environment, and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
Responsibilities- Managing the monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls (SOX), and company policies.
- Supporting the preparation of external financial reports (10‑Q, 10‑K schedules) in coordination with SEC reporting team.
- Assisting with audit requests and serving as a key contact for external auditors.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinating with cross‑functional teams (FP&A, Tax, Legal, etc.) to support business initiatives.
- Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff.
- Participating in special projects, such as system implementations or process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in a U.S. public company (highly preferred).
- Big‑4 (or equivalent top‑tier) public accounting firms’ experience is required (audit preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ASC
606, ASC
842, inventory management, and other key accounting standards. - CPA certification is preferred.
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Net Suite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working in a multinational or complex corporate structure is preferred.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
