Job Description

Responsibilities

+ Assemble bases, sills, cabinet frames, and equipment structural components using tools such as jacks and hand tools.

+ Interpret and follow blueprints and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly and wiring.

+ Identify and repair electrical problems using testing devices and diagnostic tools.

+ Perform preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and downtime.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in PLC Programming.

+ Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes.

+

Experience with sensor systems and wiring.

+ Background in Electrical Engineering.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ 3+ years of experience in PLC programming.

+ Experience working in the chemical industry.

+ 3+ years of experience in building panels and installing electrical wiring in control cabinets and equipment.

Work Environment

The position is based at the main R&D hub in New Jersey, which is home to about 90 engineers. Expect to travel 50% of the time to assist in the startup of locations in California, West Haven, and Texas.

This is a Contract position based out of South Plainfield, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
