Key Responsibilities

* Assemble and integrate electrical and mechanical components, including bases, sills, cabinet frames, and structural equipment using proper tools and techniques

* Read, interpret, and execute complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure precise system builds and installations

* Perform electrical wiring, panel building, and system integration, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards

* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and control system issues using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools

* Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve system reliability

* Support startup, commissioning, and validation activities for new equipment and facility expansions

* Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to improve system performance and efficiency

* Document work processes, test results, and system modifications to maintain accurate engineering records

️ Required

Skills & Qualifications

* Strong proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms preferred)

* Solid understanding of electrical systems, control systems, and industrial automation

* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, wiring, and control panels

* Ability to interpret and apply electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings

* Knowledge of chemical manufacturing or process environments is highly preferred

* Experience working with high-precision equipment or complex electromechanical systems

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of South Plainfield, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
