Job DescriptionR&D Altanova, a subsidiary of Advantest America Inc., a semiconductor manufacturing company, has entry‑level openings in the semiconductor manufacturing department. No experience is required for the following position:
Electrical Test Operator
Responsible for all operations needed to electrically test PCBs, including Open/Short tests, TDR measurements, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities- Test PCBs using flying probe testers, preparing test files and TDR measurement files, and testing panels for impedance.
- Identify and mark faulty locations on panels for boards that fail and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all operations and log them into the database.
- Follow instructions from process engineers regarding priorities and ensure equipment is in perfect working condition.
- Fluent English speaker and reader.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Computer literate and comfortable with MS Excel.
- Willing to lift heavy panels up to 50 lbs.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits.
- Punctual and follows company’s safety guidelines.
- Basic use of a multimeter.
- Knowledge of basic electronic components (resistor, capacitor, inductor).
- Familiarity with PCBs and basic PCB terminology.
