To drive with P&S Transportation, you must meet the following requirements:

• 22 years of age or older
• Six months of flatbed driving history involving some steel hauling and tarping experience (exception: no tarping experience required for drivers who will be pulling a Conestoga Trailer).
• At least one year of over‑the‑road (OTR) driving experience within the past five years.
• No history of failed drug screenings.
• No More than eight jobs in the last 3 years; 7 or 8 jobs will be reviewed for approval, but will not be eligible for SOB. Instead, they will receive $1k orientation pay.
• Able to pass DOT pre‑employment physical and drug screening, and an agility test.
• Must complete a pre‑employment physical exam and drug screening (per DOT 49 CFR Parts 40 and 391).
• Good roadside inspection (PSP) and MVR history that meet all of these qualifications:
  • No DUI or DWI offenses listed within the last three years
  • No more than three moving violations listed in the past three years.
  • No more than one serious moving violation listed in the past three years.
  • No more than one “at‑fault” accident listed within the past three years.
  • No DOT “at‑fault” accident listed within the past year.

With P&S, you’re not stuck with fixed mileage rates. Instead, company drivers earn 27% of the gross revenue from each load, so your pay directly reflects your effort and productivity. The harder and smarter you work, the more you take home.

The average pay for our drivers is $1,400–$1,600+ gross per week, which is paid out via direct deposit every Friday.

We have an Auto Detention program in place for when the Customer does not pay detention:

• $16/hour after 2 hours
• The driver must arrive on time
• Arrival must be logged correctly in the system

This program allows active P&S drivers to earn exclusive rewards for taking quizzes and surveys, as well as watching training videos. You’ll receive points in your online account at , where you can choose to redeem them or save them up for larger rewards.
