Job Summary
The Warehouse II Associate performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment, receipt, storage, and movement of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. This role verifies incoming and outgoing items, prepares shipments, maintains accurate records, and operates warehouse equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities- Receive goods and verify items against shipment records.
- Inspect incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products for condition and accuracy.
- Gather, verify, pack, and prepare items for shipment according to specifications and transportation method.
- Record received and shipped items using written and computerized documentation.
- Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection, stock, or designated storage areas.
- Follow established shipping, receiving, inventory, and safety procedures.
- Operate powered warehouse equipment, such as a forklift or hydraulic jack lift, as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of related warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Knowledge of standard shipping and receiving procedures, including the ability to handle routine exceptions.
- Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
- Ability to complete written and computerized documentation accurately.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required.
- Ability to operate powered equipment, such as a forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
