Estimator, Construction, Quantity Surveyor

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in the preconstruction process, working alongside experienced Project Managers and senior leadership to deliver accurate estimates on projects ranging from $10M to $100M.

This position offers genuine variety, supporting a diverse portfolio of developments including:

• Commercial construction
• Residential communities
• Parking structures

You'll have the opportunity to work on landmark developments whilst contributing to projects from initial budgeting through to successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed conceptual and hard bid estimates
• Complete quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Develop project budgets and cost plans
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Support Project Managers throughout the preconstruction process
• Maintain estimating databases and cost information
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and clients
• Assist in securing new work across an exciting project portfolio

What We're Looking For

• Experience as an Estimator or Preconstruction professional within commercial construction
• Strong quantity take-off and pricing experience
• Experience delivering projects valued from $10M+
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• A proactive approach with strong commercial awareness
