As patient advocates, they must:

• Be mindful of what is best for the patient at all times
• Be responsible and detail‑oriented
• Be able to give patients and their families advice and emotional support
• Be able to examine and assess patients’ conditions
• Be able to determine when assistance is required
• Be aware of resident rights

Equally important, they need the emotional stability to cope with human suffering, medical emergencies and other stresses.

RNs must observe procedures to minimize infection, chemical contamination and needle sticks.

RNs will need to be on‑call and available to work on short notice.

Care Tree Healthcare is hiring Registered Nurses to work at facilities in the Greater Portland area we help staff. All shifts available, including block shift.

We are currently looking for 3 Block Schedule RNs for the Freeport area: 7a‑3p, 3p‑11p & 11p‑7a. Must be available every other weekend.

1 year experience required.

Registered nurses (RNs) perform a number of duties, including treating patients, educating patients, and providing advice and support to patients’ families. RNs record patients’ medical histories, ask about symptoms, analyze test results, administer treatment, administer medications, help with rehabilitation, lift 50 lbs. or more, and operate medical equipment.
