For a limited time Maine Health is offering sign on bonuses for LPNs:
- 0-1 years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)
- 1-3 years of experience eligible for $7,500 (full time)
- 3+ years of experience eligible for $10,000 (full time)
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time LPN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
This LPN position will support our Infectious Disease Practice located in South Portland, Maine. In addition to clinical duties, the selected candidate will enter lab data in the electronic health record; schedule vaccine follow up appointments and send Rx refill requests to providers for approval.
This is a full-time (40 hours), benefited position. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8 am-4:30 pm. Your weekends are free!
Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse - Ambulatory Care role is responsible for performing duties and responsibilities within scope of nursing practice, related to patient care in the ambulatory setting. Participates in patient and family teaching by working cooperatively with the physician/advanced practice practitioner and other members of the healthcare team.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program required.
Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
One year of LPN experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $27.27to $36.88 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
