Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking an Inspector, QC to join their team. As an Inspector, QC, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting the manufacturing and inspection processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inspector, QC
Location:South Portland, ME
Pay Range:$29 to 30/ hr
What's the Job?- Perform detailed inspection and testing of medical devices and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Identify and document defects or non-conformities, and communicate findings effectively to the team.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and support quality documentation processes.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues to improve product reliability and safety.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and participating in process reviews.
- 2-year degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
- Experience working in high-volume production settings adhering to ISO and FDA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and optical diagrams and technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical repair, rebuild, or field service in a medical or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety and quality procedures.
