This part‑time Security Officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, integrity, and a people‑first culture while supporting daily operations with reliable communication and a professional presence.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour
Job Schedule: Saturday 02:00 AM – 10:00 AM;
Sunday 06:00 PM – 02:00 AM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, check credentials, and observe the movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries to support authorized access and orderly site operations.
- Complete routine reports on incidents, patrol activity, and notable conditions, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Access control and badge experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
