Clinical Director of Homeless Case Management PATH & Homeless Youth Services Salary: $70,000- $80,000 The Opportunity Alliance is looking to fill a new full-time Clinical Director of Homeless Case Management position to support two of our client focused programs.
The Project for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) team provides outreach, engagement, and referral services for people with mental illness and those with co-occurring substance use disorders who are experiencing homelessness in York and Cumberland County.
Additionally, our Homeless Youth Services (HYS) program offers community-based case management services to youth and families who are at risk of or are currently experiencing homelessness in southern Maine.
This Clinical Director of Homeless Case Management is a management position of a consultative, supervisory, clinical, and technical nature. The Program Director contributes to the accomplishment of the Agency’s mission through the leadership and oversight of the Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) and Homeless Youth Services (HYS) positions includes oversight of programming, supervision of staff, and administrative coordination of the programs.
Schedule:
Full-time, salaried role, primarily M - F, daytime hours.
Location:
Office is located in South Portland; position supports Cumberland and York counties.
- Master's degree in social work or a related field required.
- LMSW-CC, LCPC-C, LCSW or LCPC required.
- 1-2 years of work experience at the management level in the content areas of this position preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience working with children and adults in a clinical setting.
- Strong and diverse clinical knowledge, including fluency in recovery-oriented service, trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, treatment of co-occurring disorders, and the principles of harm reduction required.
- Experience working with Outreach services, background in Children and/or Adult Case Management as well as adult homelessness, mental health issues, substance use, and trauma preferred.
- Experience in developing successful relationships with vital work partners preferred.
- Demonstrated computer efficiency is a requirement. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
- Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
- Normal office conditions such as sitting, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and training and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clients or driving to agency location to complete work. A good driving record is required.
