Shipping & Receiving Support Associate

We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Support Associate for a growing logistics and distribution company in South River, NJ. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shipping and receiving environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for checking drivers in and out, entering orders, inspecting loads, and supporting daily shipping and receiving operations.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $23/hr

• Check drivers in and out and ensure all required shipping and receiving information is accurately documented.
• Enter orders and shipment information into the appropriate system.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy, condition, and proper documentation.
• Take photographs of loads when necessary for documentation and recordkeeping.
• Verify shipment details and communicate any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with daily shipping and receiving activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments and deliveries.
• Communicate professionally with drivers, warehouse personnel, and other team members.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain an organized work environment.
• Perform other shipping, receiving, and administrative duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter information accurately.
• Ability to communicate professionally with drivers and internal team members.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to inspect loads and identify potential discrepancies or issues.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
