Overview
Odyssey House is seeking a Full-Time Intake Coordinator for our Criminal Justice Program!
Summary: The Intake Coordinator is the first point of connection for clients entering our recovery programs. This role blends compassion with precision — ensuring individuals feel welcomed and supported while maintaining accurate records, organized systems, and smooth coordination across teams.
We are looking for someone highly organized, technically confident, and detail-oriented who thrives in structured environments and understands the importance of both data integrity and human care.

Location: South Salt Lake City
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm

Client Intake & Communication
- Serve as the liaison between Jail staff and courts regarding new clients
- Serve as the primary contact for new referrals and program inquiries
- Conduct intake screenings and collect required documentation
- Schedule assessments, orientations, and program placements
- Maintain professional, trauma-informed, and recovery-aware communication
Data & Systems Management
- Enter and maintain accurate client data in databases and tracking systems
- Manage spreadsheets for referrals, enrollment status, waitlists, and reporting
- Ensure documentation compliance with organizational and funding requirements
- Generate routine reports for program and leadership teams
Coordination & Administration
- Collaborate with case managers, clinicians, and program staff to ensure smooth onboarding
- Track deadlines, follow-ups, and required paperwork
- Maintain organized digital and physical files
- Support audits and program reporting needs
- Maintain client updates and information to courts, legal and collateral contacts

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative, intake, or coordination role
- Strong technical skills, including:
- Spreadsheet proficiency (Excel or Google Sheets — formulas, sorting, tracking)
- Comfort learning databases or case management systems
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance compassion with boundaries in a recovery-focused environment
