Your Role- Secure entrance/exit points, operate metal detectors, and provide security at government meetings.
- Patrol exterior property and collaborate with local police.
- Respond swiftly to incidents and emergencies, ensuring safety of people and property.
- Deliver professional customer service in a high-visibility role.
- Write detailed incident reports using our reporting systems.
This role requires reliability, strong situational awareness, and integrity to uphold APS’s standards in a critical environment.
What We're Looking For- At least 18 years old.
- Valid Utah armed security guard license.
- Valid Utah driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background check (no felonies or disqualifying crimes; in-house fingerprinting provided for clear records).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and composure under pressure.
- Must be proficient in English (written and verbal).
- Professional appearance for client-facing roles in a government setting.
- Keen observation skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
