Position Summary
The Crossing Guard prepares crossing zones and assists children in crossing streets safely.
Essential Responsibilities and DutiesGraduation from high school or GED equivalent, or any equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Necessary Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of current Utah traffic laws; knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Skill in the use of materials, equipment, and tools necessary to cross children.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and school employees.
- Basic computer skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
$19.29 / Hour - Ten Hours per Week
