Job Description We are seeking a Principal Administrative Business Partner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in executive support, complex global scheduling, event and meeting operations, and stakeholder communications and a proven ability to plan and execute large-scale engagements, manage confidential information, and drive cross-functional coordination. Responsibilities:
Independently manage complex calendars across multiple time zones for senior leaders and key stakeholders with a high level of confidentiality. Leverage Genentech IT systems and collaboration tools, including cSuite, to optimize scheduling, communication, and documentation workflows. Schedule and coordinate senior committee meetings, global summits, and departmental offsites, including all-staff, leadership, and cross-functional forums. Lead planning, organization, and execution of large-scale meetings, often across multiple time zones and with internal and external stakeholders.

Partner with leaders to design agendas, manage rolling agendas for standing meetings, and distribute all meeting materials. Collaborate with Strategic Event Services to plan and execute large department-wide offsites and onsites, including Global Town Halls and team meetings. Independently lead meeting execution at Congress events and Global Summits, including venue and speaker selection, AV, catering, agenda setting, and contract management.

Draft email communications on behalf of managers and leaders and support internal communication strategies. Partner with communications teams to track, prepare, and support communications and engagements; collect and implement feedback where applicable. Manage departmental gSites, Spaces, websites, and newsletters, including content collection, distribution, and maintenance oversight. Lead space planning processes, present recommendations to leadership, and serve as project manager for team placement strategy.

Partner with leaders to create team agreements and support employee engagement initiatives through pulse checks and ideas for improvement. Manage complex candidate interview scheduling and logistics; coordinate onboarding, including the first 30 days checklist and relocation support. Serve as an external stakeholder connector and coordinate executive engagements as needed. Maintain knowledge of cSuite changes and organize trainings for team members and administrative peers;

in some cases, serve as Admin Lead. Process and manage vendor and speaker engagements, RFPs, selections, contracts, and payments. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

5-7 years of administrative, operations, or project management experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech environments. Experience at Roche/Genentech strongly preferred and familiarity with Genentech organization and processes. Demonstrated ability to manage and safeguard confidential and proprietary information with discretion. Experience training staff on departmental systems, processes, and administrative tools. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals in a fast-paced setting.

Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work across functional groups and drive strategic execution; may lead workflow assessment and coordination among team members. Collaborative approach with the ability to elicit input, integrate feedback, and resolve complex issues and conflicts productively. Strong judgment and decision-making with ownership of outcomes based on breadth of experience and context. In-depth knowledge of cSuite tools, including gMail, gCal, gSheets, gSlides, Trello, gMeet, and Zoom;

ability to promote and instruct others on productivity tools. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. BS/BA degree or equivalent industry experience. Preferred

Skills:

Experience supporting senior executives ector level and above; VP level preferred. Experience leading large offsites, congress meetings, and global summit logistics end to end. Interview Process:
