OVERVIEW OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
The South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD) community includes 15 schools supporting 8,000 students in Daly City, San Bruno, and South San Francisco.

In February 2024, the School Board for SSFUSD adopted our new Vision and Five-Year Strategic Plan. As a senior leader, the Director will be responsible for leading and supporting initiatives to ensure the district delivers on its promises in the Strategic Plan.

School Office AssistantJob Summary:
Under the direction of an assigned school administrator, perform a variety of general and varied clerical duties in support of an assigned school site office; answer telephones and greet and assist students, parents and visitors; participate in attendance duties and maintain related reports as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed in the job description.
Licenses and Other Requirements:
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification issued by an authorized agency within a designated probationary period.
- Some incumbents in this classification may be required to be proficient in English and a designated second language and pass an oral and written proficiency test in a designated second language.
