Senior Electrical Engineer

Schedule: M-F 8-5pm, hybrid schedule, 2 days in office 3 days remote

Contract Length: 12 month contract (likely to be extended)

Requirements:

• Looking for at least 8 years of experience within electrical engineering with 4 of those years focused specifically in lab environments.
• Experience working with medium‑voltage power distribution systems, including 15 kV emergency generators, main distribution switch gear, and site‑wide electrical distribution.
• Experience in client facing roles and ability to take ownership.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office applications
• Knowledge of HVAC, central plant systems, and cleanroom technology.

Day to Day:

• In this role, you will provide the technical expertise necessary to support the design, installation, commissioning, and validation of electrical and utility systems. You will be the frontline technical consultant, ensuring zero business disruptions by maintaining the reliability of our process and building systems.
• System Ownership: Act as the site Electrical SME and owner of the electrical business process, providing direction for maintaining all electrical infrastructure.
• Project Leadership: Develop timelines and oversee work for major, long-term electrical engineering projects, including new facility construction and remodeling.
• Technical Consulting: Provide work oversight to contractors and vendors; review schematics and make recommendations for equipment selection and design.
• Operational Support: Support Maintenance, Facilities, and Automation teams by troubleshooting instruments, controls, and utility systems (including fire protection).
• Compliance & Documentation: Collaborate with engineering staff to prepare controlled documents for commissioning and validation in accordance with cGMP guidelines.
• Continuous Improvement: Research and test new electrical apparatus and assist management in developing electrical design standards.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
