Job Description:
- Lead the Finance and Accounting Department, ensuring overall fiscal supervision.
- Provide visionary guidance for agency operations.
- Manage the annual budget and planning process.
- Ensure adherence to contract billing and collection schedules.
- Oversee cash receipts, tangible assets, disbursements, and federal grant billing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Enhance risk management standards for asset protection.
- Collaborate with insurance providers for cost-effective solutions.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Familiarity with non-profit or public administration accounting/reporting practices in California.
- Experience with automated accounting and financial management systems.
- Application of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in diverse environments.
- Compliance with state employment conditions.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 5+ years in responsible financial leadership roles.
- 5 years of fund accounting experience, with 8 years of progressive Accounting/finance experience.
- Paid vacation and 14 paid holidays.
- Company-paid medical and dental insurance.
