Job Description- Supervise unlicensed laboratory staff and clinical laboratory scientists in training.
- Coordinate with other clinical laboratory scientists, including coordinators for safety and quality control.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for specimen processing, perform test procedures, data analysis and reporting test results.
- Perform appropriate QA/QC procedures.
- Operate and maintain equipment and instruments according to manufacturer and Monogram Clinical Reference Lab (MCRL) established procedures, including:
- Analyse clinical specimens.
- Calibrate.
- Preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshooting.
- BS/BA in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory and laboratory training/experience in specialties related to molecular biology, virology, and/or tissue culture.
- Requires current State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
