Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare, or Life Sciences organizations to lead Agile delivery initiatives supporting Patient Engagement, Patient Care, and Patient Services platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience facilitating Agile teams, driving continuous improvement, and delivering patient-centric digital solutions within highly regulated healthcare environments. Experience supporting patient onboarding, care management, patient support programs, adherence initiatives, or patient experience platforms is highly preferred.

Required Experience

• 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Delivery Lead.
• Proven experience in Pharma, Biotechnology, Healthcare, or Life Sciences organizations.
• Hands-on experience supporting Patient Engagement, Patient Care, Patient Services, Care Management, or Digital Health initiatives.
• Strong experience leading Agile/Scrum teams in enterprise environments.
• Experience working within regulated healthcare environments and collaborating with business, compliance, and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams delivering patient-focused healthcare solutions.
• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Remove impediments and manage cross-functional dependencies across business and technology teams.
• Drive Agile best practices, team maturity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor Agile metrics including velocity, sprint health, burndown, risks, dependencies, and team performance.
• Support release planning, roadmap execution, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure delivery aligns with healthcare and pharmaceutical compliance standards.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on Scrum, Agile principles, and SAFe methodologies.

Required Skills

• Scrum Master and Agile delivery expertise.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Agile frameworks.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools.
• Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong risk management, dependency management, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple Agile teams and distributed stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or SAFe Agilist certification.
• Experience with:
• Patient Care Solutions
• Care Management Systems
• Digital Health Applications
• Clinical or Commercial Pharma Systems
• Prior experience with Genentech, Roche, Pfizer, Amgen, Abb Vie, Novartis, Merck, Bristol Myers Squibb, GSK, IQVIA, Optum, CVS Health, or similar healthcare organizations.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Veeva, or healthcare CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, and patient-centric solution delivery.
• Experience working in large-scale Agile transformations and SAFe environments.
