AKASA in South San Francisco is seeking a strategic Director of Compliance & AI Governance to own and evolve our compliance program as we scale. This role suits someone who has led compliance in healthcare SaaS or AI environments and wants to build an engineering-forward program.
You’ll own HITRUST, SOC 2, HIPAA programs end to end, implement AI governance per NIST AI RMF, drive policy life cycles, and partner with Engineering, Product and Legal to automate evidence collection and audits.
