Role:
Manager, LIMS at Veracyte, overseeing the administration and continuous improvement of laboratory information systems supporting regulated clinical diagnostics.
Responsibilities include
- leading a team responsible for LIMS support, configuration, validation, and integration
- ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and data integrity standards
- managing system upgrades, enhancements, and vendor relationships
- and driving automation and process efficiencies to support diagnostic testing workflows
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Life Sciences or related, with 7+ years supporting LIMS in regulated labs
- 3+ years leading technical teams
- experience leading LIMS implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- strong knowledge of laboratory operations, data management, and validation practices
- excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in scientific or technical discipline
- experience in molecular diagnostics, genomics, oncology testing, or IVD environments
- familiarity with laboratory automation and digital transformation
- experience supporting multi-site labs
High-Value:
- focus on clinical diagnostics, regulated environments, LIMS system management, integration with laboratory workflows, and supporting growth in diagnostics
Work Setup: based in San Diego or South San Francisco, with salary range $145,000-$181,000, dependent on experience.
