About This Role
The Nurse Manager/Educator at Kaiser Permanente is responsible for leading the implementation of best practice models and patient care delivery systems across multiple locations. This role is ideal for experienced nursing leaders who are passionate about improving patient care and fostering collaboration among healthcare teams.

- Lead the implementation of best practice models and patient care delivery systems.
- Delegate tasks related to patient/family/member concerns regarding care and services.
- Facilitate collaboration with physicians and healthcare team members.
- Monitor resource needs in clinical areas for appropriate assignment and utilization.
- Manage the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Ensure a safe environment for patients and employees.
- Maintain clinical expertise and provide clinical supervision.
- Collaborate with Nursing Clinical Practice to ensure compliance with standards.
- Manage hospital administrative functions to support patient care.
- Develop and implement operational initiatives and manage departmental budgets.
Education:
- Associate's Degree (ADN) required
- Leadership experience in nursing required
Certifications:
- Current RN License in California
- BLS certification required
